ABOUT THE BARNS TO BEACHES FESTIVAL

Rides Start at 10 am - Live Music at 2 pm
The Rides begin at 10 am. Riders will depart in waves leaving every 10 minutes. The Leisure Rides begin at 12:05 pm, with riders departing in waves every 10 minutes.
The Live Music starts at 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and features 54-40, with special guests: Emmett Jerome, Spendo, Honeybear, the Band and The Exchange.
Festival attendees can also enjoy craft beer and local beverages, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and community booth activations.
Bike route riders will receive a FREE festival entry wristband!

Ride orientation announcements will take place at the main stage throughout the day.
ADVENTURE EXPO & Market
10:00 am - 6:00 pm
The Adventure Expo & Market is designed for people interested in cycling and outdoor adventure activities. Watch for vendors from cycling groups, bicycle manufacturers, E-bike rentals and repairs, sports stores, corporate activations and community groups. There will also be a Bike Safety Check area courtesy of South Delta Bikes.
There will also be an assortment of food trucks, and a site-wide license featuring delicious craft beers from Four Winds Brewery, Barnside Brewing Co,. plus ciders, coolers and wine.
The Kids Ride and Fun Zone are located on the lawn of the yellow house, and will include crafts, games, jugglers, tricycles and training wheel fun!
Riders’ Lounge
The Red Barn will become The RunInn RIDERS’ LOUNGE for the day, open from 9 am to 10 pm.
Register for your ride, pick up your festival wristband, confirm your pledges and collect your Ride Rewards and swag! We’ll have free refreshments, complimentary massages, bag check, change areas, and a place to chill after your ride! Rider hospitality is courtesy of The Run Inn!
If you don’t want to go home to change after your ride, you can bring your clothes, check your bag and then change into your best festival look in the Run Inn Rider’s Lounge after your ride.
Rider recognition awards

Nominee ballots for the Rider Recognition Awards will be accepted in the Riders Lounge and in the Adventure Expo.
KIDS RIDE & FUN ZONE
10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Southlands’ Red Barn and Yellow House will host the Barns to Beaches Kids Ride and Fun Zone for the day.
Watch for special guest unicyclists, jugglers, bouncy castles, tricycle races, face painting and more!
BIKE VALET SERVICE
Saturday June 20: 9 am - 10 pm
Sunday June 21: 9 am - 12 noon
The Bike Valet Service will operate beside the Red Barn by donation to Ladner / Tsawwassen Rotary Clubs. We will have a tag and check system, but all riders are encouraged to bring your own locks.
The concert will end at 9 pm, (sunsets at 9:20) so most cyclists will ride home after the concert. If you ride your bicycle to the festival site and don’t want to cycle home, the Bike Valet Service can hold your bike overnight and you can pick it up the next morning.
There will be free shuttles operating between Ladner and Tsawwassen all day. So don’t drink and ride! If you consume alcohol at the concert, you can take a shuttle home and pick up your bike the next day!
Getting to the festival
FREE SHUTTLE - LADNER TO TSAWWASSEN TO SOUTHLANDS
Saturday June 20: 9 am - 10 pm
We are offering a free shuttle service courtesy of Tsawwassen Shuttles.
The shuttle includes a bus for passengers and a truck for bicycles, traveling in tandem.
The shuttle will depart hourly from Paterson Park in Ladner, stopping at South Delta Recreation Centre along the route to Southlands. The trip will take approximately 40 mins. The shuttle will drop off, and pick up, riders and bikes on Red Barn Blvd, near the festival gates.
Please note that this is not a reservation service and shuttles will depart on a first-come, first-served basis on site.

Parking
The following locations are open for festival parking:
Paterson Park, 5800 Clarence Taylor Crescent, Ladner, BC
South Delta Recreation Centre, 1720 56 Street, Tsawwassen
Centennial Beach Parking Lot
There is limited parking in the Southlands District so riders driving in to Tsawwassen should plan to park nearby and ride in. There are a few parking spaces at Diefenbaker Park, Pebble Hill School, Centennial Beach and regular street parking areas designated along the route on 64th Avenue and at the Delta Works Yard and Tourism Delta Centre.
